All my sons- Reflection Act 3 P.118

Reflection:

1.What I found different about reading a play is that its more detailed than a story, you get connected to the characters almost as close as a movie, while a story is a lot more general.
I did enjoy the play, it was long which I think is a good thing, as it gets slowly more and more interesting.

2.Probably the most interesting character in the play was Joe Keller, the way his character progressed throughout the play was interesting by it self, but he also was a fun and a very smart character.

3.The thinking skill Comparing and Contrasting helped me understand the different character personalities of each two characters, like how Jim and his wife Sue have completely different points of view.
Inferring helped me understand that some characters kept a secret from all the other characters, the way Kate always kept telling Joe to stop with the jail game with Bard, made it clear that the Keller's might be hiding a secret.
Uncovering Motives made me understand each characters motivation in certain acts, for example what motivated George to come all the way to the Kellers.

Dear diary,

The last few days were hard. I cant think of anything good that happened in these past days, except maybe Ann coming here, but I think that's the reason for all of this pain. If she hadn't came(gr.) here in the first place, maybe none of this would of happen.

I don't know what I'm suppose to do now that my father is gone, he was everything to me. I never saw him as a criminal, only (as) a good man, and I would of(ww.-have) never let him go to prison, I just wish I could of(ww.) told him that myself.

If it wasn't for George and Larry's letter, he would of(מיותר) still been(gr.) here with me, (new sentence) but I cant talk like that about George and definitely not Ann, she's gonna be my wife tomorrow and I have to get prepared for the wedding.

I'll try and visiting(gr.) mother after the wedding, out of us all, she has the hardest time right now(phr.) and she could use some company.

Good work

All my sons- Bridging text and context act 3

The information about Arthur Miller explains the background of the playwright, from his early life, as a wealthy child, to the crisis  in his life caused by the Wall street crash. As Miller's life went on, he eventually became a playwright, a very successful one at that, who wrote over 30 plays as well as a novel, short stories and essays. Miller is also known for his plays to address social and political issues, his major works discuss the importance of personal and social responsibility.

Thanks to the information about Arthur Miller, we can see how Miller brought Joe Keller to life based on his own father, who also owned a well formed factory. The only difference is that Keller was afraid of losing his factory, that factory kept his family in a good position in life, they always had money, (New sentence) not only that, but Joe wanted to give his factory to his son, Chris.(and how did Chris feel about that? Why?) While Arthur's father had lost his factory, he experienced the pain and difficulty of losing a well formed business

The message Arthur Miller was trying to convey to us based on the information about him, was expressed through Joe and Chris, how they behaved and the conflict that was(ww.-developed)  between them. Chris and Joe had conflicting points of view on the social and political issues caused often by the pressures exerted by the family, and social responsibilities.
Joe (was) an irresponsible man, who couldn't take full responsibility for his crimes, (New sentence) he didn't want to go to jail so he made up excuses, first at the(מיותר) court when he told everyone he is(gr.-was) sick, and then when he thought that the shipped cracked cylinder heads wont be placed on the airplanes.
When Chris found out about this, he saw his father in a whole different way, he thought Joe was better than all of that.

Better, but it is a bit disorganized.
